The Censorware Project

Like many public institutions, my school has "Internet Censorship" software. Untill recently, I have just gone on ignoring the problem. Suddenly the filter settings were suddenly tightened, blocking all Forums and Blogs. Some of these sites include Google Groups, which hosts at least one of the school club's message board, and Slashdot. The school administration (even the person who made the change) were probably not aware of what was being blocked.
As a result, I have started a campaign against Internet Censorship, especially in the Mukitleo School District. I have sent an essay to the entire school district, a few elected officials, and several newspapers. I hope it will not be necessary to take further actions.
